i was in 7th grade when i bought the distiller's sing sing death house. most of the lyrics were about moving forward and leaving nay-sayers behind. this album was the start of me finally feeling comfortable with who i was in middle school. i guess its kind of an odd album for such a thing but i think it mostly had to do with just being excited to see a girl fronting a punk band.
i still continue to listen to this album whenever im in short supply of confidence or when i need motivation to go an extra 10 minutes on the treadmill.
